About the course:
SSLD conceptualization of relationship: Addressing participants’ needs as key condition of possibility. This course will discuss the social exchange theory, life-scripts, managing differences, and responsive assertiveness.
Objectives:
- Identify some of the underlying social scripts around us.
- Recognize pervasive influence of social scripts.
- Explain the role of social scripts and its effects on relationships.
- Apply changes from unquestioningly following social scripts to a more rational design of a relationship game plan that takes into account the N3C of yourself and your partner(s).
